Luftiga lador är i ropet – minns Synnöve Morks utställning på Formex senast. På Stockholm Furniture & Light Fair var det Hay som tagit konceptet längst med en långsmal lada uppbyggd av små boxar fyllda med sina pastell/neon-produkter, papp och skarpa konturer. Strålande fint och inspirerande!

Med mässbesökare i ser det nästan ut som en bur ...
Fina metallådor och så händerna förstås, en sån här finns redan hemma hos mig.

Can I make a request? I will be moving into an apartment soon, but I only get one room to myself. Do you have some tips for making that one room cozy but also a nice place to do work?

Hello Andie! Will it be a bedroom too, so you need to fit a bed as well as a desk? I don’t know how big the room is or how much you need to fit in there, but if possible I would divide the room, with a bookcase for example, so you’ll have a work space and a resting space. Ir put a curtain along the bed so you can divide the room when you go to sleep – it’s not ideal for sleeping to be surrounded with work stuff (I know this by experience).
Also, give the desk/workspace a lot of thought, so it will look nice as well as be practical since you will see it all the time. (Or put the desk in a closet so you can shut the doors when you don’t use it: http://www.emeraldinteriordesign.ie/blog/tiny-home-office-spaces/)

I always liked the ”swedish” look in furniture. It is simple, not over the top, yet clean and stylish. I like the muted colours which are usually very natural.

Jag är osäker, den ligger på Hays hemsida (”Gym hook”), men det behöver ju inte betyda att den finns i handeln än. Maila och fråga!
